According to the information, this case pertains to the historical Baba Bodeshwar Mahadev Temple in Bangarmau Kotwali area of Unnao. Here a deranged youth from the minority community attacked the devotees who had come for darshan with a stick. The young man left three devotees bleeding. The devotees who were injured in the attack include Milan, Kailash and Krishna Kumar. This incident has been captured in the CCTV installed in the temple.
Accused caught by PAC soldiers deployed in the temple
The PAC soldiers deployed in the temple somehow controlled the attacker and handed him over to the Kotwali police. The attacker has given his name as Javed, son of Pappu, resident of Mohalla Dargah Sharif Bangarmau. At present the police has started action against him. The devotees injured in the incident were taken to Bangarmau CHC for treatment, from where one has been referred to Lucknow.
Angered by this incident, people started protesting by blocking the road. People demanded strict action against the accused. The police reached the spot after receiving the information and got the traffic jam cleared by assuring strict action against the accused.
