Kaushambi: The bodies of the triple murder case that took place in Sandipan Ghat police station area of Kaushambi district in Uttar Pradesh were cremated on Saturday under the shadow of police. On the orders of the District Magistrate, the Magistrate has started investigation into this murder. Its report will be sent to the government. The demands of the family are being sent to the government. Due to a land dispute, Horilal, his son-in-law Shivsharan, daughter of Braj Kali were shot dead while sleeping outside their house in Mohidinpur village on Friday night. Many nearby houses and shops were set on fire by angry family members and villagers. The policemen and officers who reached the spot were attacked with bricks and stones, due to which the injured Tehsildar Pushpendra Gautam suffered serious head injuries.
There was so much bloodshed among the relatives of the deceased that anyone who was found on the road was also beaten up, in which milkmaid Nanka and Sonu Singh also got injured. After a lot of effort, in the presence of the administrative officer, the Deputy District Magistrate took all three bodies for post-mortem. Deependra Yadav said that due to delay in postmortem, the last rites of the body could not be performed on Friday.
Superintendent of Police Brijesh Kumar Srivastava said that in the triple murder case, the bodies of the daughter and father were cremated at Umarchha Ganga Ghat, while son-in-law Shivsharan was cremated at Kankarabad Ganga Ghat in his village. District Magistrate Sujit Kumar said that a three-member investigation committee has been formed under the chairmanship of ADM Justice, which will conduct a detailed investigation of the entire episode. On the basis of investigation of the committee, action will be taken against the culprits, also a proposal has been sent to the government for financial assistance to the victim’s family. The Social Welfare Department has sent the financial assistance amount to the account of the relatives of the deceased on Saturday. They will be benefited from various schemes and their security arrangements will be ensured.
