A case has been registered against former DGP of Uttar Pradesh Jagmohan Yadav in Jaunpur. It is alleged that Jagmohan Yadav beat and abused the village head of Tarhati village and threatened to kill him. At present, on the complaint of the victim village head, the police have registered a case against former DGP Jagmohan Yadav in Mungarabadshahpur police station. The victim village head has given an application to the Chief Minister, requesting the former DGP for the safety of his life and property.
Actually, the whole matter is of Tarhati village of Mungarabadshahpur police station area. Let us tell you that former UP DGP Jagmohan Yadav is also a resident of this village. Tarhti’s village head Chandresh Gupta alleges that on Monday, former DGP Jagmohan Yadav beat him up in the Panchayat building in front of the officials and threatened to kill him.
Allegation of beating Pradhan in front of officials
Village head Chandresh Gupta alleges that a complaint was made on the Chief Minister’s portal by Anmol Dubey of the said village, in relation to which the Revenue Department team had arrived on Monday to investigate. Police force was also present at the Panchayat Bhawan along with the officials. The meeting went on peacefully for about an hour. After this Jagmohan Yadav reached Panchayat Bhawan. The village head left the chair for him to sit.
It is alleged that former DGP Jagmohan Yadav scolded the village head and asked him to run away from there. When Pradhan did not leave from there, Jagmohan Yadav grabbed his collar and slapped him. It is alleged that former DGP Jagmohan Yadav, after slapping the victim Pradhan, also abused him. Not only this, the victim has also accused Jagmohan Yadav of threatening to kill him.
Case registered against former DGP Jagmohan Yadav
Police have registered a case under sections 323, 504 and 506 of IPC in Mungarabadshahpur police station against former DGP of the state Jagmohan Yadav for beating, abusing and threatening to kill the village head. The victim alleged that the brother of former DGP Jagmohan Yadav is contesting the Pradhani election. Those who contest elections against them are harassed by being implicated in fake cases. According to the victim, two village heads of the village have also been jailed by the former DGP by implicating them in false cases, misusing his position.
Village head appealed to CM Yogi for security
The victim has appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the safety of his family’s life and property. The victim told that the former DGP can kill him and his family at any time. Therefore he should be given security. However, the police have registered the case and are busy investigating the entire matter.
Machhilishahr CO Atar Singh said that on Monday the revenue team had gone to the Panchayat building in Tarhati village for consolidation. It is alleged that village head Chandresh Gupta was beaten and threatened by former DGP Jagmohan Yadav. On the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against former DGP Jagmohan Yadav. After the dispute, peace was made between both the parties and measurement was done.
