Saharanpur: In Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district, unknown miscreants shot at an official of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, injuring him. The police gave this information on Saturday.
Saharanpur’s Senior Superintendent of Police Vipin Tada said that VHP’s Saharanpur unit co-minister Abhishek Pandit (28) was walking outside his house in Shatrughan Colony at 11.45 pm when miscreants shot him. He told that the bullet hit Pandit in his right hand, he was immediately taken to a private hospital for treatment. TADA said that Pandit has registered a case in this regard.
According to the police, there have been attacks on Pandit earlier also, investigation has revealed that he had some dispute with the local people and that too is being probed. Police force has been deployed in the hospital for security. The police is investigating the matter . He told that Abhishek’s condition is out of danger and he is undergoing treatment.
