A shocking case of husband-wife dispute has come to light in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. Here a soldier has registered a case of extortion of 25 lakhs against his own wife. The victim says that his wife has taken possession of his army ID card and is demanding a ransom of Rs 25 lakh from him.
Where is the whole matter?
This case pertains to village Mahmudpur located in police station Hafizpur in Hapur. Ankit Chaudhary, who lives here, is a soldier in the Indian Army. Ankit Chowdhary says that in the month of last February itself, without informing him, his wife went to her maternal home after taking his army ID card. When he did not return the ID card even after several months of pleading, he had to file a complaint with the police.
The military husband says that his in-laws house is in Bulandshahr. He also contacted the in-laws house, explained to the people but his wife is not returning the ID card and is demanding Rs 25 lakh in return.
SP complaint
Soldier Ankit Chaudhary’s leave is over, he needs to return to duty. But without ID card the soldier is not able to return to the job. The wife has refused to give her ID card. In such a situation, the troubled husband has given a complaint letter to the SP. And has demanded action against his wife.
Army is posted in Uri
Soldier Ankit Chaudhary is currently posted in Uri sector of Kashmir. He had come to his home Mahmudpur only on 9th February. Soldier Ankit Chowdhary wants to go back to the border on duty for the sake of protecting the country, but is not able to go back on duty without an ID card.
