Regarding the Indo-Pak match in the World Cup, Pakistan’s star fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has given a big statement that we should not focus only on this match.
According to Pakistan Cricket, Shaheen Afridi talked about the World Cup to be held in India and the Indo-Pak match in an interview given to a TV channel. Shaheen said, “We have to stop thinking and focusing only on the match against India, because it will be just one game. We should focus on how to win the World Cup, that should be our target as a team.”
The Pakistani fast bowler further talked about his fitness. Shaheen’s fitness had been in the news for some time. Shaheen said, “I am fully fit now, that is why I have returned to the Test team. If I was not fully fit, I would not have been a part of the Test squad. Going to play matches for Pakistan, not for any club level team.
Please tell that the Pakistan team will visit Sri Lanka. A series of two Test matches will be played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on this tour. The first Test of the series will be played from 16 to 20 July, while the second Test will be from 24 to 28. The first Test of the series will be held at the Galle International Stadium. The second match will be held at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo. Before these matches, the Pakistan team will play a two-day practice match on 11 and 12 July.
