A young man who had come to the Karauli Ashram in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh committed suicide. The youth had brought his mother and sister from Dinajpur in West Bengal to the ashram for treatment. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem. At the same time, the media in-charge of the ashram said that he has nothing to do with this matter.
Actually, the matter pertains to Bidhanu area of Kanpur. Here Ajay Chauhan from Dinajpur in West Bengal had come to Karauli Ashram for the treatment of his mother Lalita and sister Reena. He was undergoing treatment there. Ajay was worried due to the illness of his mother and sister. Because of this many times he used to go into depression. Because of this, he committed suicide by hanging from a tree in Pipraize village near Karauli Ashram.

Karauli Ashram’s media in-charge Brijendra Singh said that the ashram has nothing to do with the youth’s suicide. The deceased has committed suicide by going far away from the ashram. The police informed him about this entire incident. Also said that several thousand people come to his ashram daily for treatment. For this reason they do not have information about the deceased person.

Reena Chauhan, the sister of the deceased told, brother (Ajay Chauhan) also used to be ill. He used to live in depression even at home. Because of this many times he did not even eat food. He used to remain upset even after we explained and because of this he must have committed suicide.
At the same time, in this case, ACP Dinesh Shukla told that as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem. The family members of deceased Ajay Chauhan have not made any allegation against anyone.
