Mirzapur. Amarjit’s wife, a resident of Pachra village of Sant Nagar police station area, set fire inside the room after throwing her three children into the well on Saturday morning due to family discord. As soon as the news of the incident came, the relatives started making noise. Hearing the commotion, the villagers reached the spot and entered the well to save the children, but by then all three had drowned.
In this, the bodies of two daughters, two-year-old Kriti and one-year-old Anu, have been recovered from the well. While the search for the elder son Akash continues. On the other hand, the condition of Amarjeet’s wife remains critical. As soon as the information about the incident was received, Additional Superintendent of Police OP Singh and other officers have reached. The matter is being investigated. Amarjeet Coal used to work as a laborer. For the last few days, a dispute was going on between the husband and wife over some issue.
There was a dispute about the same thing on Friday night as well. Wife Chanda got angry on the dispute once again on Saturday morning and took their three children eight-year-old Akash, two-year-old daughter Kriti and one-year-old daughter Anu to a nearby well and threw them in turn. After this she herself went to the room and lit the fire by closing the door from inside. The same three of his children drowned in some time. Kriti and Anu die. The dead bodies of both have been taken out from the well by the villagers.
