80-year-old Haribansh Dubey, son of self, resident of Thengval Dubey village of Kotwali police station area. Jamuna Dubey slept in her room after having dinner on Friday night. Meanwhile, his second son Manoj Dubey, along with his son Aman Dubey, attacked Haribansh Dubey’s body with a mortar. Due to which he was badly injured. On making noise, the accused ran away after seeing other family members.
In a hurry, the family members took the injured elderly to the Community Health Center, where the doctor informed the Kotwali police after first aid. Seeing the serious condition of the elderly, he was referred to the Medical College, where he died during treatment. The police is interrogating the grandson of the deceased elderly, Aman Dubey, in custody.
