Kaushambi: On Wednesday, the police recovered a pistol factory in Diya Uparhar village of Sarayakil and arrested a youth. The second accused managed to escape. After questioning the arrested accused, the police filed a report against him. Superintendent of Police Brijesh Kumar Srivastava exposed the matter by holding a press conference. After this, the police sent the challan to the court, from where the accused was sent to jail.
The police had come to know about the stealthy making of pistols in Diya Uparhar village situated in the valley of Yamuna. In such a situation, the police engaged informers. The Superintendent of Police said that on Wednesday Inspector-in-charge Sarayakil Vineet Singh and Sub-Inspector Hanuman Pratap Singh came to know that two youths were making pistols in the valley of Yamuna. Police recovered 12 pistols of 315 and 12 bore, 20 cartridges, nine kiosks, iron cord and tools for making pistols from the hut. The arrested accused Yusuf son of Kabban is a resident of Diya Uparhar. The SP said that the absconding accused is being searched. Soon he will also be arrested.
The SP also says that the arrested accused was involved in this business for many years. In the year 2019 also, the accused has gone to jail on the charges of operating a pistol factory. Apart from this, a case of cheating has been registered against the accused in the year 2020, besides rioting and murderous attack.
