Jalaun: The Manju murder case of Indiranagar in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh was finally revealed after 17 years. Manju was murdered by her husband Santosh due to love affair. After the incident, the accused Santosh went missing under suspicious circumstances and a few days later, after marrying his girlfriend, he started living in the Kanpur countryside. Here, the relatives of Manju, who have been circling the police for justice for the last 17 years, met Jalaun SP last week. On his complaint, now the police has disclosed the whole matter.
According to Jalaun SP Dr. Iraj Raja, Manju’s mother came to him in the public hearing. After seeing the complaint, he gave the responsibility to the CO and first asked to pick up Manju’s husband. On the other hand, when the police brought him from Kanpur, the accused not only confessed to the whole incident in a short interrogation, but also told that he was in love with another girl, only to get her, he had committed suicide with the help of his uncle. The incident has been executed.
After this disclosure, the police has also arrested the uncle of the accused. Let us inform that in the year 2006, a woman was brutally murdered by crushing her head in Orai Kotwali area of Jalaun. The police had recovered his body from the nearby forest. At that time, the woman’s brother had given a complaint to the police against his brother-in-law. It was alleged that his sister was murdered for dowry. The police registered a case against him in time, but taking the matter lightly, put the file in cold storage.
It is alleged that during this time the family members of the woman pleaded with the police officers many times, but they did not listen. But now after the matter came in front of the SP, it was investigated afresh, then the whole matter has been revealed. Manju’s mother told that she married her daughter with great interest in the year 2005 with Santosh’s son Nathu, who lives in Indira Nagar of Orai Kotwali area. At that time, according to his capacity, he had also donated dowry. Despite this, her daughter was beaten up several times at her in-laws’ house. After about one and a half years of this marriage, he was murdered.
The victim told that after this incident her son-in-law also went missing under suspicious circumstances. Due to this, the family’s earlier suspicion turned into the belief that it was Santosh, the son-in-law, who had killed their daughter. Manju’s brother Vishnu told that in the last 17 years he has traveled many times from police station to outpost and from CO to SP. But for the first time an officer has heard him. Belatedly, finally his sister has got justice after 17 years.
