Rudauli: A marriage that took place at Siddhapeeth Kamakhya Dham on Sunday is in the news. In this the groom is 65 and the bride is 23 years old. Everyone was surprised to see the couple in the temple premises, but with the consent of the relatives and in their presence, the marriage took place according to Hindu customs and rituals.
Nakkhed Yadav, 65, of Hussainabad, Chaudhary’s Purva Majre Zameen of Subeha in Barabanki district, married 23-year-old Nandani Yadav, a resident of Ranchi, Jharkhand, to Maa Kamakhya temple. Nakkhed’s first wife had died. He had six daughters from his first wife. After everyone got married, the daughters started living with their in-laws and he was left alone at home.
Nakkhed, who became the groom, told that he has married Nandini to overcome loneliness. Recently he went to Ranchi. There he met Nandini. With the permission of Nandini’s relatives, he brought her to Barabanki. On Sunday, both took seven rounds of the Kamakhya temple.
