More than 500 people die in a year
The 45 kilometer part of this NH Highway 34 connecting Kanpur to Sagar district passes through Hamirpur district, in which more than 500 people have lost their lives in a road accident in a year, even after the heavy traffic, this highway is only passable. It is two way and passes through many towns and villages. Because of which it has become a common thing to visit it daily.
Expressing anger, Salim, a local resident said that accidents happen every day here, if the highway administration cannot make dividers, then at least breakers should be made. Due to which the speed of heavy vehicles can be reduced and accidents can be reduced.
