Agra. Cyber miscreants trapped the sub-inspector (promoted head constable) in their trap by making a video call. Blackmailed by threatening to upload his video on YouTube. Calling himself an IPS, collected one lakh rupees in a month. On Monday, cyber miscreants demanded two lakh rupees from the inspector. Asked to send a team from Delhi to arrest him for not paying the amount. The victim complained of blackmailing to the Additional Commissioner of Police. A case has been registered in Shahganj police station in the matter.
The video call came a month ago
Darega, who lives in the police line, told the police that the incident happened a month back. He got up after worshiping in the evening. Was wearing underwear and vest. Meanwhile the video call came. They thought it belonged to an acquaintance. The call got disconnected after a few seconds of receiving. Ten minutes later his mobile rang. The caller introduced himself as IPS. Said that he is speaking from Delhi Crime Branch. Told him that he had harassed a girl by making a video call.

The IPS teller told the inspector that his video was being uploaded on YouTube. It will cost 25 thousand rupees to get it deleted. According to the inspector, he panicked badly. He transferred the amount to the account mentioned by the accused. After which the miscreants started calling him from different numbers. Recovered one lakh from them during about a month.
The girl has committed suicide, a team is being sent to arrest you.
The inspector told the police that on Monday evening, Shatir called him posing as an IPS. Told them that the girl who had made the video call. He has committed suicide because of defamation. Two people have been arrested in the case. Delhi Police team is being sent to arrest him. He is a policeman, so want to save him. If two lakh rupees are given then his life can be saved. He was horrified to hear about the suicide. Informed the familiar policeman about this. He said to trap cyber vicious people. Asked the sub-inspector to complain to the police officers in the matter. He appeared before Additional Police Commissioner Keshav Chaudhary. Gave information about the whole matter, after which the charge was filed in Shahganj police station.

The inspector told the police that the blackmailer used to call himself an IPS officer. Told on the phone that being a policeman, he does not want your uniform to get stained. That’s why put the amount that is being asked in the account. If this is not done, he will send the team of Delhi Police to arrest them.
Officer’s photo was removed from DP as soon as cyber cell called
The inspector reached the cyber station on Monday. He told that the number from which two lakh rupees are being sought. His DP has a photo of a police officer in uniform. Cyber cell called on the said number. As soon as he introduced himself, Shatir removed the police officer’s uniform photo posted on his DP.
