The Kanpur police of Uttar Pradesh, surrounded by controversies, seems to be involved in the game of fake warrants this time. On the warrant issued, the police reached the Kanpur court after arresting the alleged accused youth. During the hearing here, it was found that the warrant was forged. No case pending in the name of the alleged accused was found in the court. As soon as the game of fake warrant came to the fore, the court ordered an inquiry and also got Tahrir filed in the police station. The special thing is that if the warrant was not detected immediately, then the alleged accused youth could have been sentenced to 10 days in jail, but the youth narrowly escaped when the truth was revealed in the court itself.
In fact, Sonu Rathore, a resident of Kachhi Basti under Govind Nagar police station area, was arrested by the police because of a fake warrant. Additional District Judge (ADJ)14 Akhileshwar Prasad Mishra was produced in the court. It came to know that no file named Sonu is pending in the court. Also, no warrant has been issued in the name of Sonu. After knowing about the case number, it was found that the file of this number is going on in the court of Additional District Judge-26. In which section 306 is related to police station Maharajpur. In this the name of the accused is Vipin alias Nawab.
Alleged accused released on personal bond
As soon as the issue of fake warrant came to the fore, Sonu was released by the court on a personal bond, but when the investigation of the case was started, it was found that the office clerk had not prepared the warrant. Both writing and signature are not found. Even the judge’s signature on the warrant and the seal of the court were fake. The fake arrest warrant was issued on 22 December 2022.
Vicious took advantage of the court’s winter break
The fake arrest warrant was issued on 22 December 2022. This means that the vicious person who made the fake warrant has prepared the warrant before the winter vacation of the court and the court. Had Sonu been arrested earlier, he would have been sent to jail, but due to Sonu’s good luck, the police arrested him after the winter vacation. Presented in the court, due to which the fake warrant was exposed.
Special crime branch team will arrest the vicious
Now, after many levels of investigation on this matter, on January 10, 2023, Sharad Kumar Chaurasia, reader of ADJ-14 court, has given Tahrir in Police Station Kotwali, Kanpur to file the report. The police have registered a case. Police is taking this one of its kind case very seriously. Crime Branch has been engaged to investigate the matter. Kanpur Police Commissioner BP Jogdand, showing seriousness in this matter, has engaged the Special Crime Branch team to arrest the person who made the fake warrant.
