Chandauli. Two youths died due to explosion of oxygen gas cylinder on Friday in Ravi Nagar locality of Chandauli. During this, there was a stir on the spot. The deceased Chandrabhan, 35, was a resident of Kudkala in Mughalsarai while Rajan, 28, was a resident of New Mahal in Mughalsarai. After this incident mourning spread in both the families. SP Ankur Angarwal, who arrived with the police force on information, inspected the spot. At the same time, the forensic team collected necessary evidence from the spot.
There is a possibility of cylinder blast due to tractor collision
Rajan worked as a daily wage laborer at Pooja Engineering, a supplier of oxygen cylinders, located in Hinauli. And Chandrabhan was the driver of the pickup. Both pickups used to supply oxygen cylinders to various hospitals. On Friday, Dayal had reached the nursing home after loading oxygen cylinders to supply them. They were unloading the cylinder after parking the pickup near the nursing home, when the tractor coming from the front pushed the pickup. It is being speculated that the cylinder got blasted due to the impact of the tractor and both of them died.

The blast was so strong that the head of the deceased got separated from the body, while the body was torn to pieces. At the same time, the glasses of vehicles and houses standing nearby were shattered. The residents of the locality were stunned by this blast and for some time there was chaos in the Ravi Nagar locality. Mughalsarai CO Anirudh Singh and SDM Mughalsarai Avinash Kumar also reached the spot and investigated the matter.

This incident has also been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the hospital. On the basis of which it is being told that the cylinder got blasted due to falling from the side of the nozzle. As soon as the information was received, the driver of the pickup vehicle Chandrabhan’s father Jangi Ram and Rajan’s father Rajkumar Pal reached the spot. Both were in bad condition crying. Taking the dead body into custody, the police has started taking advance action.
The company gave 25 thousand to the relatives of the dead.
25-25 thousand rupees were given to the relatives of the deceased from the efforts of Pooja Engineering. While director Avinash Mallick told that the driver Chandrabhan has been insured for one million, while Rajan will be provided assistance as per the company’s provision.

Superintendent of Police Ankur Aggarwal said that two people have died due to blast of oxygen cylinder. How the cylinder burst is being investigated. The body has been sent to the mortuary. The forensic team has also collected necessary evidence from the spot. The matter will be clear only after the investigation as to how the incident took place. It will be known in the investigation whether the pressure in the cylinder was high or not. Action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
