Kanpur: Gangster Act has been imposed on SP MLA from Kanpur Irfan Solanki and his brother Rizwan Solanki. Police Station Jajmau has taken action against 5 people including SP MLA Irfan Solanki under the Gangster Act. Irfan Solanki, his brother Rizwan Solanki, Israel Atta Wala Mohammad Sharif are named in the case registered on case number 156/22. All these people are facing allegations of encroachment on other’s land, eviction from the land and wrongful acquisition of land to people.
Significantly, Samajwadi Party MLA from Kanpur Sisamau Irfan Solanki is currently lodged in Maharajganj Jail. SP MLA has been shifted from Kanpur to Maharajganj District Jail in various cases including plot dispute, arson and traveling by air with fake Aadhaar card, including giving fake Indian citizenship to Bangladeshi citizen.
The Jajmau police have registered three more cases against the SP MLA and five others in action under the Gangster Act. During the discussion of the cases of the SP MLA, he was accused of creating a chaotic situation by obstructing the government work by indecency, misbehavior, misbehaving with the sub-inspector of police while on duty, Uttar Pradesh Gang Bandh and Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act, Public Property Damage Prevention Act. Cases have been registered in this regard.
Joint Commissioner of Police, Anand Prakash Tiwari, in a press conference held at the Police Line Auditorium, said that the case in Jajmau police station under crime number 156/22 Section 3(1) Uttar Pradesh Gang Bandh and Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act 1986, against Irfan Solanki, his brother Rizwan Solanki, Israel Atte Wala, Mohammad Sharif and Shaukat Ali have been made accused.
And the second case, crime number 155/22 police station Jajmau, under sections 386, 419, 420, 427, 504 Bhadvi and 3/4 Public Property Damage Prevention Act 1984, on Irfan Solanki, Haji Wasi, Shahid Lari and Qamar Alam, residents of Durga Vihar Jajmau. On behalf of Vimal Kumar, he is accused of taking possession of the land, demolishing the boundary wall, demanding extortion by forgery, abusing, threatening to kill and taking possession of KDA land.
Apart from this, the third case under section 147, 188, 269, 270, 332, 353, 504 under crime number 212/22 police station Gwaltoli, by MLA Irfan Solanki with police sub-inspector Rajeev Kumar and his team for indecency, misbehavior and It is in the context of creating a chaotic situation by obstructing the work. In this context, smuggling was also put in the GD by Sub-Inspector Rajeev Kumar in the police station on 21 August 2021 and it was brought to the notice of the station in-charge and higher authority. A video of this incident during the lockdown was also made available in the case. This video was also widely circulated in the internet media, in which the whole incident is clear. Taking cognizance of this matter, a case has been registered by the station in-charge Gwaltoli, whose independent investigation will be conducted from another police station.
