New Delhi. New Zealand will play all their matches in Karachi in the upcoming tour of Pakistan. Bad weather in Punjab province forced the PCB to change the schedule. The decision was taken following a mutual agreement between New Zealand Cricket (NZC) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The PCB said that air operations in Multan have already been disrupted due to bad weather and fog. Due to this, the match between Pakistan and New Zealand can also be hampered. That’s why the cricket boards of both the countries have shifted all the matches of Multan to Karachi by mutual agreement.
It may be noted that the first Test is to be played in Karachi. While the second Test would have been played in Multan. Now this test match will also be played in Karachi only. The PCB has released a new update regarding the three-match ODI series after the two-Test series in Karachi.
PCB released revised schedule
26-30 December – 1st Test, Karachi
January 2-6 – Second Test, Karachi
January 9 – 1st ODI, Karachi
January 11 – Second ODI, Karachi
