Ghaziabad. Two real brothers died in another accident on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway (DME) on Sunday morning. The accident took place near Chittorda in Mussoorie region. The police have taken the bodies into custody and sent them for postmortem.
According to the information, ACP Nimish Patil Mohit Rawat, a native of Sailani village in Dugadda of Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand, and his younger brother Rohit Rawat lived in Noida Sector-49. Mohit was working as a technician and Rohit as an assistant in Samsung. The company had Christmas and New Year holidays. On Sunday morning, both of them had left on one bike and three more friends on another bike to go to the village.

All five stopped near Chittorda and started walking after little doubt. Rohit and Mohit were about to start the bike when a speeding car from behind hit their bike. The speed of the car can be gauged from the fact that both of them jumped along with the bike and fell on the ramp after crossing the fencing of the highway.
The driver absconded with the car after the accident
After the accident, the accused driver fled leaving the car. The three friends informed the police and Rohit and Mohit were admitted to the nearest hospital by ambulance, where both were declared brought dead by the doctors.
The police have kept the dead bodies of both in the mortuary after the panchnama. The accused driver is being searched by taking possession of the car. Explain that two wheelers are banned on DME. Had both the bike riders been stopped earlier, the accident would not have happened.
