Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave detailed information about the UP model of strong law and order in Surajkund, Haryana. He said that work has been done on four main points in the last five years. First recruitment and training, second modernization of police, third infrastructure facilities and fourth, coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs in view of the challenges. Due to this, success has been achieved in keeping the law and order continuously strong.
Zero tolerance policy towards crime and criminals
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended a two-day contemplation camp organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Surajkund, Haryana. Chief Ministers, Home Ministers, Lieutenant Governors and Administrators of Union Territories are also participating in the camp. CM Yogi said that the increase in infrastructure facilities for the police in the state, police reforms and connecting the police force with technology have yielded good results. This has helped in establishing the rule of law in the state. Regarding the policy of zero tolerance towards crime and criminals, he said that organized crime has ended in the state at present. Such criminals are in jail or have died in police encounters.
Sense of security in all sections of society due to police action
CM Yogi Adityanath said about the action against the mafia that the property worth 44 billion 59 crore rupees of the mafia and other criminals has been confiscated and demolished. By confiscating the illegal properties of the mafia and criminals, colleges for girls and houses for the weaker sections are being built on them. This has sent a better message to the society. He said that in 18 cases of identified mafia, 11 mafia and their 28 co-criminals have been sentenced to life imprisonment or rigorous imprisonment and fine. Two of them have also been sentenced to death. These actions of the police have strengthened the sense of security among all sections of the society especially women, girls, weaker sections and businessmen. During this, CM Yogi gave information about the reduction in crimes along with the figures in the state.
Maintain mutual harmony and harmony among all classes
CM Yogi Adityanath said that all important festivals, fairs, processions etc. have been completed peacefully in the state. Due to the commitment of the state government, communal harmony is maintained in the state. Mutual harmony and harmony is intact among all classes. CM Yogi said that Mission Shakti Abhiyan is being conducted in the state for the purpose of safety, respect and self-reliance of women and girls. The massive police action during the campaign has instilled a strong sense of security among women and girls. Uttar Pradesh has got the first place in the country in getting punishment for crimes against women.
