Lucknow. Kanpur Accident: The tractor-trolley that crashed in Ghatampur, Kanpur killed 26 people. Everyone got goosebumps after seeing and hearing the incident. Discussion started that in this way the passengers should not be carried in the trolley. But the question is, will this accident put brakes on such accidents? Because by trampling the rules like this, the tractor-trolleys have been running since then. It may be that now the government should strictly stop this, but for the time being Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made a poignant appeal to the people of the state that life is priceless, please do not be careless.
Use tractor-trolley only for agricultural works and freight – CM Yogi
- After the Kanpur accident, the Chief Minister expressed grief over the incident and tweeted along with instructions for relief amount, treatment etc., saying, ‘Dear people of the state, my appeal is to use tractor-trolley only for agricultural works and freight. . Never transport passengers with it.
- Life is priceless, please don’t be careless. This is not an order but an appeal only because the tractor is used by the rural farmers. The government does not want to strictly curb their activities.
- But, taking undue advantage of this laxity, villagers are putting their own lives at stake. Actually, tractor-trolley can be used only for agricultural work or freight transportation, but for many years it is seen that villagers are also carrying passengers from it.
- Accidents happen every day and people lose their lives. Taking the latest incidents only, some time after the Kanpur accident on Saturday, the tractor-trolley collided with the tanker in Sitapur. The figure of casualties could not be confirmed till the time of writing this news.
- Similarly, on September 26, ten people died when a tractor-trolley overturned in Itaunja, Lucknow. On August 28, a tractor-trolley full of devotees collided with a canter at Baheri in Bareilly, injuring several people.
