Lucknow. The blood-soaked body of 25-year-old Atul Rawat was found lying in a water-filled pit in Garhi Mawaiya village of Bijnor area on Sunday morning. The family members of the deceased have expressed the apprehension that the dead body was thrown after murder. At the same time, the police said that the body was found on the side of the road. Atul died in a vehicle collision.
A crowd gathered on the spot on Sunday morning after the information of the dead body of the youth lying in a water-filled pit on the roadside outside Garhi Mawaiya village. A youth who emerged from the crowd identified the body as Atul Rawat, a resident of Kalli Paschim village. Meanwhile the police arrived. The police informed the family members from the mobile found near the deceased. The wife of the deceased, Vidhi and other family members arrived. It is alleged that the dead body was thrown in the pit after killing the husband.
However, Vidhi has denied direct allegations against anyone. The family members have demanded a probe into the entire matter. Vidhi told that they were married two years ago. She is a resident of Maati village. Husband used to work. Inspector Bijnor said that further action would be taken on the basis of the post-mortem report. The investigation will be done on the basis of whatever the family members give a complaint. However, in the preliminary investigation, the incident seems to be an accident.
Bike was damaged, injury marks on the body: Atul’s wife Vidhi told that husband’s entire bike is damaged. There are injury marks all over the body. The wounds were bleeding. Someone has thrown the dead body after killing her husband.
