Lucknow. Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) national president Mayawati has taken a jibe at the Uttar Pradesh government’s plan to survey illegal madrassas in Uttar Pradesh. Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has also described the BJP as a party following the steps of Congress in the matter of Muslims.
BSP chief Mayawati has attacked the BJP with two tweets regarding the survey of illegal madrasas in Uttar Pradesh. Mayawati said that since the era of Congress in the country and the state, there have been complaints of the Muslim society being exploited, neglected and riot victims etc. BJP is also now on the steps of Congress. After coming to power by doing narrow politics in the name of ‘appeasement’ of BJP, now the game of repressing and terrorizing this class continues unabated. Mayawati said that her act is very sad and condemnable.
BSP supremo Mayawati said that in this sequence of the BJP government, now the madrassas in Uttar Pradesh have a crooked eye. In the name of madrassa survey, any attempt to interfere in private madrassas running on community donations is inappropriate. The BJP government should focus on improving the deteriorating condition of government-aided madrassas and government schools. Private madrasas have to focus on their goals.
Earlier on Thursday, Mayawati had targeted the BJP government with two tweets. The BSP chief demanded immediate help of the farmers from the Uttar Pradesh and Central Government in view of the drought-like situation in Uttar Pradesh this year due to very less rainfall. Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has described the announcement of help to farmers by the Uttar Pradesh government in the past, like cumin in the mouth of a camel.
