Giving information about the arrest, Kotwal Jayarayan Shukla said that the arrested accused had stolen the bike of Anuj Tripathi, a resident of Parsa Deeppur of Bansgaon police station area, from Gagaha police station area a year ago. Meanwhile, information was received from the informer that three suspicious youths are standing on the Ranipur culvert. On the basis of information, the police arrived and caught the youths with the stolen bike. During police interrogation, he confessed to the incident of bike theft.

The arrested people were identified as Saroj Alam alias Munna Hashmi, ward number 18 resident of Gola town and former SP city president, Rajkumar Sahni and Raju Beldar, residents of Kaudiram of Bansgaon police station area. The arresting team included sub-inspector Ajay Kumar, Amit Kumar Singh, Varun Pandey, Hiran Singh Yadav.
Villagers caught thief stealing motor, handed over to police
Villagers caught the thief stealing a motor in Charpan village of Belipar police station area. His other accomplice fled from the spot. By opening the motor pump in front of Hari Om Nishad’s house, the thieves were preparing to run away by keeping it in the auto. During this the home owner’s sleep was awakened. They raised an alarm and chased the thieves. A thief including an auto was caught with the help of villagers in Belipar town. His other accomplice fled there. The arrested accused has been identified as Bistoli Khurd Belipar, resident of Arif son Sabir Ali. The police have sent the accused to jail after registering a case on Hariom’s Tahrir.
Stolen generator recovered
The Khajni police station has arrested two accused on charges of theft from near Jarlahi bridge of Unwal. Two stolen generators have been recovered from them. The generator went missing from the house of Virendra Dubey, a resident of Mishralia village of Khajni police station area. Police recovered the generator from Jarlahi bridge from Ankul Prajapati, resident of Pichora village under Gida police station area and Satendra of Jarlahi. Police arrested both the accused and sent them to jail.
