Lucknow. Police and administrative team attached property worth 2.16 crores of two brothers accused of gangster resident of Khodaipur village of Gadaganj. Many cases of cheating the youth in the name of getting them jobs are registered against them.
On Sunday, Dalmau Deputy District Magistrate Ashish Kumar Mishra and CO Ashok Kumar Singh reached Khodaipur with heavy police force. The three-storey house of village resident Sushil Kumar and his brother Virendra Kumar were attached. The value of the house is stated to be 2.05 crores. The luxury car of these two brothers has also been attached, which is worth Rs 11 lakh. The officer said that Sushil and Virendra used to cheat the youth in the name of getting government jobs.
Many such cases have come to light and FIRs have been registered against them in other police stations besides Gadaganj. Gangster Act was imposed on them for committing crimes by running organized gangs. Their property has been attached under Section 14(1) of the Gangster Act. Both brothers are out on bail. At the time of attachment, Sushil and Virendra’s wife and children were at home, who were taken out and sealed the door. Continuous action is being taken against those who create movable and immovable property from the money earned through crime.
Fraudsters on target: On July 29, a house worth 1.10 crores of Nafees Ghosi, a resident of Ashiqabad, Salon, was attached. He also had nine criminal cases registered against him for cheating. In July itself, the police arrested him and sent him to jail.
