After both his innings, Rishabh Pant became the highest run-scorer in a Test match on England soil as an overseas wicketkeeper.

Rishabh Pant scored a total of 203 runs in both the innings of the Edgbaston Test match and now he has become the highest run-scorer in a Test match on England soil as an overseas wicketkeeper. Along with this, Rishabh Pant also broke the 72-year-old record. Before Rishabh Pant, the record of scoring the most runs in a Test match as an overseas wicketkeeper on England soil was held in the name of Clyde Walcott, who scored 182 runs in a Test match in the year 1950.
After MS Dhoni after 11 years, Rishabh Pant did wonders in England
Rishabh Pant became the second Indian wicketkeeper to score half-centuries in both the innings of a Test match on England soil. Earlier, MS Dhoni had scored half-centuries in both the innings of the Birmingham Test match in the year 2011 and scored 77 runs in the first innings and 74 not out in the second innings. After this, now i.e. 11 years old, Rishabh Pant again scored 146 and 57 runs in both the innings of the Birmingham Test match.
