New Delhi. The thrill was at its peak in the 33rd league match of IPL 2022 played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. In this match, the thrill that started from the first over of the first innings continued till the last ie 20th over of the second innings. The 20th over of the second innings of this match was very exciting in which it seemed that Mumbai might win, but the twist in the story was brought by MS Dhoni and gave CSK victory.

Mumbai had scored 155 runs in this match and it seemed that CSK would chase the target easily, but Mumbai’s batsmen made this target very difficult for Chennai. The situation became such that in the last over of the second innings, CSK had to score 17 runs in 6 balls to win and Rohit Sharma handed the ball to Jaydev Unadkat. On the very first ball of this over, Unadkat dismissed Pretorius for 22 runs, who were playing 22 runs in 14 balls. After this the pressure on CSK increased even more.
After Pretorius’s dismissal, Bravo came to the ground and he gave the strike to Dhoni with a run off the second ball. Now CSK had to score 16 runs in 4 balls to win. Dhoni hit a six on the third ball of the over and then hit a four on the fourth ball. Now 6 runs were to be scored in two balls to win and Mahi took two runs in the fifth ball. Now four runs were to be scored for victory off the last ball and Dhoni scored a four in the sixth ball to give CSK a three-wicket victory.
MS Dhoni remained unbeaten for the 77th time
MS Dhoni is the most not out batsman in IPL. He remained unbeaten on 28 against Mumbai too and this was the 77th time that he returned to the not out pavilion. In this league, Ravindra Jadeja is at number two in terms of being not out, while Kieron Pollard is at number three.
