New Delhi. The date for organizing the remaining matches of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League is getting closer. The team is signing new players in place of foreign players who will not be part of these matches to be held in UAE. The Rajasthan Royals team has confirmed that wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler and all-rounder Ben Stokes will not be a part of the tournament.
England cricket team batsman Butler is going to become the second father. He has also withdrawn his name from the national team for the same reason. Currently playing a five-match Test series with the Indian team. He has withdrawn from the fourth match for the same reason and it is expected that he will not play the fifth match either.
England all-rounder Stokes will also not be a part of this time’s IPL. He had withdrawn his name due to injury and mental health even before the Test series being played against India. Rajasthan Royals signed two players
With Buttler and Stokes not playing in the IPL, Rajasthan Royals announced the signing of two new West Indies players. It was told from the team that bowler Oshane Thomas and batsman Evin Lewis have been signed. Even, who plays for Trinadad Tobago in the Caribbean Premier League, has been signed as Butler’s replacement, while Thomas, who plays for Barbados Royals, has been included in the squad as a replacement for Stokes.
