In such a situation, DGP Ashok Kumar has appealed that from 10 to 15 April, Dehradun, Garhwal and Kumaon Mandal should move.
The cases of corona virus infection are continuously increasing in Uttarakhand. In view of this, considerable vigilance is being exercised. Meanwhile, the royal bath during the Kumbh is expected to increase crowds in Haridwar. In such a situation, the challenges of police-administration have also increased. Director General of Police Ashok Kumar has appealed to everyone that all the travelers coming to Uttarakhand these days, but they do not have to take part in the Kumbh, then they should travel by Haridwar route till 15th, in view of the royal bath and other important bathing festivals Left.
Precaution is also being taken regarding Haridwar Kumbh amid growing Corona infection. There is a royal bath on ‘Somvati Navami’ on 12 April. In view of this, a crowd of devotees is expected to grow. In such a situation, the police-administration is also very active. The DGP said that those who are not visiting Kumbh should avoid traveling through the Haridwar route. He said that for this, all the route information has been uploaded on the social media pages of Uttarakhand Police.
The DGP also pointed out that 14 April is the most important royal bath day for Mahakumbh-2021. Apart from this, on April 12, Somvati Amavasya is also an important day. For this, a long ghat up to 19 km has also been prepared. He said that during this period, all policemen of all districts have been instructed to strictly implement Kovid Protocol enforcement in view of the fast growing cases. Let us tell you that before reaching Haridwar, Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that the state government is determined to organize Haridwar Kumbh Mela safely.

- First Shahi Snan: March 11, Day Thursday, Shivaratri.
- Second Shahi Snan: April 12, Day Monday, Somvati Amavasya.
- Third Main Shahi Snan: April 14, Day Wednesday, Aries Sankranti.
- Fourth Shahi Snan: April 27, Day Tuesday, Baisakh Purnima.
