Dehradun. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has directed to take strict action against those who do not follow the guidelines in view of the increasing cases of corona infection in the state. He said that the RTPCR investigation of Corona in the state, tracing to prevent the spread of infection, creation of micro containment zones and surveillance should be done more seriously. He said that to reduce mortality, medical care and treatment should be taken top priority.
Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat on Thursday attended a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to review the status of corona infection and vaccination in the country through video conferencing. The chief minister then held a meeting with state officials regarding the corona infection. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister the Corona infection had been controlled to a great extent. Looking at the increasing number of cases now, one has to work with determination as before.
Compliance with the laws of masks and physical distance should be ensured. The Chief Minister said that a big campaign of vaccination is going on all over the country. Uttarakhand is among the leading states in the country in vaccination. Its speed has to increase further in the state. 100% vaccination of people falling in the standards set by the central government is to be ensured. Chief Secretary Omprakash, DGP Ashok Kumar, Secretary Amit Negi, Nitesh Jha, Pankaj Pandey and SA Murugation were present in the meeting.
