The Border Security Force has recovered a cache of arms from the Indian surveillance post (BoP) Pul Moran (Pul Kanjari) located on the India-Pakistan border. It includes an AK-56, a magazine, five cartridges, an AK-47 rifle, a magazine, 9 cartridges, a Point 303 gun, and a Point 30 Chinese pistol. Gharinda, a police station under Attari sector, has registered a case and detained a person for questioning. Zakhira was hidden by digging a pit across the barbed wire.
The Amritsar countryside police had received information that the smugglers had hidden arms consignments from Pakistan near the barbed wire at Pul Moran. The smugglers are in the process of removing the consignment from there. The countryside police informed BSF about this. BSF and countryside police started joint operation and recovered Zakhira.
Till now, no information has been provided by BSF and countryside police in this matter. Where this stock of weapons was to be supplied is being investigated. Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI has not sent these weapons to any terrorist organization, it is also being investigated. It is also being investigated.
