Haridwar. The Haridwar Kumbh Mela will begin duly from Thursday. Due to Corona infection, this time the Kumbh Mela will run from 1st to 30th of April, that is, a month only. Under normal circumstances, the Kumbh Mela lasts for four months. This time during the Kumbh Mela period there will be three royal baths and two festival baths. For the prevention of Kovid infection, it has been made mandatory for devotees coming for bath to bring RTPCR negative report. Here, the akharas have also completed their preparations. From April 2, the phase of placing the Dharmadhwaja in the akhadas and taking out Peshwai will also begin. The practice of seven akharas has been removed, yet six more are going to be taken out.
According to the SOP issued by the Nainital High Court and the state government for the Kumbh Mela, it is mandatory for all devotees visiting Haridwar during Kumbh Mela to bring a negative report of 72 hours of RTPCR investigation of Kovid-19. Without this, no one will be allowed to enter Haridwar. For this, the Fair Establishment has started an investigation on the borders from Wednesday itself. People coming to Haridwar without investigation report are being sent back from the border areas. Armed forces forces have been deployed at all check posts. A Korana investigation has also been arranged at the border.
Niranjani Arena will bathe first
The order of the akharas has also been fixed for the royal bath to be held on 12 April and 14 April. The Niranjani Arena will be the first to take a bath. While the Nirmal Arena will take a bath at the end. In both these royal baths, saints of all 13 akhadas and Mahatmas and Naga sannyasis will bathe with full splendor. No one else will be allowed to enter at every point during this time. There will be no such restriction in the festival bath.
Paramilitary forces will take over the front
About 1270 policemen and about four thousand paramilitary forces have been deployed for arranging the total Kumbh Mela area of 670 hectare spread from Haridwar to Devprayag and protecting the devotees. While 38 small and large temporary hospitals of 613 beds have been set up with 200 doctors, 1500 para medical staff deployed.
