Lucknow. Today is the last day on Sant Ravidas Jayanti of Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Ram Mandir fund dedication campaign for the construction of the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ramnagri Ayodhya. This campaign to collect donations for the temple construction work lasted 44 days. Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust in Aminabad in Lucknow, will conclude this campaign. Cabinet Minister Brajesh Pathak will also be present in this function of the Drug Dealers Committee in Lucknow.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad launched a massive campaign to collect 44 days of donations across the country for the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya. During this time the President, Vice President and Chief Ministers of many states also contributed to this. Sant Ravidas Jayanti, the world’s largest fund collection campaign for Shri Ram Mandir, is being completed on Saturday, 27 February. This campaign starts on the day of Makar Sankranti on 15 January and ends on Maghi Purnima.
RSS workers were also involved in this money collection campaign along with Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Covering half the country’s population, the teams of this campaign met millions of people in villages, towns and cities and also collected money.
Voluntary contributions received from the volunteers have been deposited in the local branches of the bank accounts of the Sri Ram Tirth Kshetra Trust. The collection details along with the respective receipt / coupon numbers are being updated daily through an app. This app has been specially designed by the Trust for this purpose.
