New Delhi. Indian Farmers Union leader Rakesh Tikait has now made a big announcement on the withdrawal of the Agricultural Law. He said that farmers will now have to march to Parliament. With this, this time, not 4 lakh but 40 lakh tractors will be marched.
These days, he is visiting different states of the country and organizing a mahapanchayat of farmers there. Rakesh Tikait made this new announcement during a rally in Sikar, Rajasthan.
In fact, earlier on 26 January, there was a call from the farmers’ organization to take out a tractor rally. In the guise of that rally, the miscreants had created a furore on the streets of the capital, in which more than 500 policemen were injured. The miscreants had climbed the ramparts of the Red Fort and hoisted the flag there, besides the flag on the Red Fort where the Prime Minister hoisted the flag on 15 August and addressed the nation. This infestation of farmers was criticized all over the world. Now Rakesh Tikait has again reminded that day by announcing a big rally.
In Rajasthan, Rakesh Tikait said that farmers should have one eye on the farm, second look on the movement in Delhi and third look on the joint farmer front. The government is not accepting the farmers, so in the coming time, an agricultural research center will have to be built in the park near the Parliament. Create a parliamentary committee and get some crops cultivated there. The committee should see the profit and loss and decide the price of the crops on that basis.
On the other hand, after the arrest of the farmers on the Ghazipur border by the Delhi Police and the notice imposed on the ticker border, the anger among the farmers is increasing. The officials of United Kisan Morcha have expressed strong opposition, describing these two cases as central government action.
In this case, Dr. Darshan Pal, issuing a statement on behalf of the United Kisan Morcha, described these actions as a conspiracy to discredit the farmers. Along with this, he clarified that with such action, the peasant movement will be strengthened rather than weakened.
Dr. Darshan Pal of United Kisan Morcha said that BJP leaders and activists who came to discredit the struggle of farmers in western Uttar Pradesh, attacked the farmers. Instead of taking action against the BJP workers, the police arrested the farmers. We strongly oppose the government’s anti-farmer conspiracies. Everyday efforts are being made by the BJP to discredit the peasant movement. We will not let it succeed and this struggle of the farmers will surely succeed.
