New Delhi. The arrival of festival season in the country increases the rush of passengers in trains. This year, Indian Railways has announced to run some special trains on the occasion of Holi, giving relief to the railway passengers. Many trains were shut down during the lockdown caused by the Corona epidemic. With the reduction of Corona cases in the country and the introduction of Corona vaccine, the process of operating several trains has been resumed.
Trains will run from March 1
Indian Railways has announced that it will start operating several trains on March 1 on the occasion of Holi. The passengers of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will get the maximum relief from the running of these special trains. The news of the operation of special trains after the Corona period is indeed reassuring.
Where will trains run from
Indian Railways has informed that 05054/05053 Lucknow-Chhapra-Lucknow Special Train and 05083/05084 Chhapra-Farrukhabad-Chapra Special Train will be operated from March 1. All coaches in this train will be of reserved category. The special train running between Chhapra to Lucknow will run four days a week. The special train running between Chhapra to Farrukhabad will be operated three days a week and the special train running between Farrukhabad to Chapra will be operated two days a week.
Apart from this, Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express (02503/02504) which currently runs one day a week, will be run for five days on the occasion of Holi. The operation of this train has been started from 16 February on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Passengers from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Assam will benefit from the running of this train.
Western Railway decided to run 22 special trains
At the same time, Western Railway has decided to run 22 new special trains i.e. 11 pairs on different routes. These trains will run between several routes including Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai. According to the Railways, all these new special trains are fully reserved. That is, booking in advance for these new trains run by Western Railway is necessary. It is mandatory to follow the Corona Guidelines set by the Railways while traveling in the train.
