Dehradun. In the new session 2021-22 in the state, necessary transfers will be made in each cadre of personnel according to the code of conduct of only 10 percent or ideal elections. Chief Secretary Om Prakash issued orders in this regard on Friday.
The transfer of personnel in the new session in the state will be done according to the Transfer Act-2017. The Chief Secretary issued orders in this regard on Friday after the proposal was approved by Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. The order directs all departments to start the transfer process for the next session. According to the Act, transfers have been given the green signal. This year, mandatory transfers have been approved. Although a large number of personnel may come under the mandate of mandatory transfer, the government has limited it.
There is a provision for giving travel allowance to personnel in compulsory transfers. Because of this, the financial burden on the government is set to increase. The Chief Secretary in the order will transfer only 10 percent in each cadre. At the same time, personnel coming under the JD of the Model Election Code of Conduct will also be brought into the fold of transfers. The Chief Secretary said that according to the Annual Transfer Act, all time bound arrangements will be executed. In case of any department having problems in normal transfers, the said difficulties will be redressed under Section 27 of the Act. Departments have been instructed to prepare a reasonable proposal in this regard and provide it to the transfer committee.
