London | English Premier League (EPL) club Chelsea have signed a five-year deal with German midfielder Kai Hewtjerg. Hewtarge was with Leverkusen before this. According to the news agency report, Hewtarge has arrived in Chelsea after his German partner Timo Werner. Wellerner joined Chelsea earlier this season.
“For me, playing at a big club like Chelsea is like a dream come true. Now I can’t wait to meet all the players and coaches,” said Hewtarge, 21.
Hewtarj joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2010 at the age of 11. In 2016, he made his senior team debut and became the club’s youngest player to debut in the Bundesliga.
He has scored 36 goals and 25 assists in 118 matches for Leverkusen.
“Kai is one of the best players of his age in world football,” Chelsea director Marina Granowskia said.
Chelsea’s team finished fourth in the Premier League last season. Apart from this, the team reached the final of the FA Cup, where they lost to Arsenal.
