New Delhi Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the citizens of the country with the mantra ‘Shri Krishna’ on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. The Prime Minister tweeted, “Best wishes on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. ‘Jai Shree Krishna’.”
Earlier, President Ram Nath Kovind also greeted people on Janmashtami. He insisted that the teachings of Lord Krishna are evident amidst the epidemic among the Corona warriors of India.
The President said, “His message of ‘Karmayoga’ is a call to focus on our responsibilities rather than awards. This sentiment is evident in the work of all our Corona warriors who are at the forefront of our fight against Kovid-19 . ”
According to officials, a day before the Janmashtami festival, the temple has been sealed after 22 people were found positive at the ISKCON temple in Vrindavan, including the temple priests.
