Special helmets given to traffic policemen
In the first phase, AC helmets have been distributed to 100 traffic personnel. Gorakhpur Police has planned to distribute a total of 200 helmets. Soon in the second phase, more helmets will be given to traffic personnel. The specialty of this helmet is that it has a battery-operated mini fan which will keep the head of the policemen handling the traffic cool and will provide relief from fatigue and heat to the policemen who do duty in the sun for a long time. A separate battery has been provided to run the small fan in the helmet, which the traffic police will keep on their waist. Once charged, this helmet will run for 8 to 10 hours.

SP Traffic Sanjay Kumar said that to avoid this harsh sun, a special helmet has been given to the traffic police personnel which will protect them from the sun.
