A strange situation arose on Saturday with Pakistani Seema Haider living in Rabupura of Greater Noida, adjacent to the national capital. An unknown youth forcibly entered her house. The accused first tried to strangle Seema Haider and then slapped her three to four times. Fortunately, Seema raised an alarm and hearing the noise, family members and people from the neighbourhood reached there. These people caught the accused and informed the police about the incident. The police reached the spot and arrested the accused. The police is investigating the matter.
According to the police, the accused has been identified as Tejas Jhani, who lives near the TB hospital in Surendranagar district in Gujarat. The accused reached Delhi by train on Saturday and from here reached Rabupura by traveling on various vehicles. According to the police, when the accused reached Seema Haider’s house, the door was found closed. He kicked the door four to five times. Meanwhile, Seema herself came and opened the door and tried to look outside. Meanwhile, the accused pounced on Seema and grabbed her throat and tried to strangle her.
The accused is mentally deranged
When Seema Haider protested, the accused slapped her three or four times. Meanwhile, hearing the noise, her family and other people reached the spot. These people caught the accused and first beat him badly and then called the police and handed him over. According to ACP Sarthak Sengar, the accused is being questioned. However, the interrogation so far has revealed that the accused himself is mentally deranged. In such a situation, his family has been informed about the arrest of the accused. This entire incident happened late Saturday evening.
Questions raised on security
After the Pahalgam attack, the police was claiming to have made strict arrangements for the security of Pakistani Seema Haider. Meanwhile, after the attack by this youth from Gujarat, questions are being raised on the police arrangements. According to the police, orders have been given to investigate the matter. Along with this, the call details of the accused’s mobile phone are also being searched. The accused told the police during interrogation that Seema Haider and Sachin have done black magic on him.
