A shocking video related to the Prayagraj Mahakumbh is going viral on social media. In this video, a policeman picked up soil from the ground and threw it in the bhandaar being made for the devotees going to the Mahakumbh. Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has also posted this video on Twitter. Akhilesh Yadav wrote with the video that it is unfortunate that the good efforts of those who are arranging food and water for the people stranded in the Mahakumbh are being soiled due to political animosity.
After investigating the video, it has been found that this video is from Malak Chaturi village on the Phaphamau-Soraon border of Soraon area of Prayagraj. Here food was being cooked in three big bhagoons on the roadside track. During this time, a policeman picked up soil from the ground in a vessel and threw it in the food being cooked. After the accident in the Mahakumbh on the day of Mauni Amavasya, vehicles coming to Prayagraj were stopped on the roads. People remained sitting in their vehicles for hours. Some people were also going on foot. For these people, some voluntary organizations had arranged food and water on the way.
Sand put in the food of the bhandaara
DCP Gangapar Kuldeep Singh Gunawat said that in front of Soraon Malak Chaturi village on Prayagraj-Pratapgarh road, some villagers had organized a bhandaara to serve the devotees going to Maha Kumbh. At the same time, a large number of devotees were eating bhandaara. Due to the bhandaara on the highway, a situation of jam had arisen. The police had reached to solve the problem of jam.
Pressure was being created to close the bhandaara
The police team started pressuring to close the bhandaara. When the villagers refused to close the bhandaara, a policeman got angry and threw the soil and ashes lying on the ground into the prasad of the bhandaara being made on the stove. Putting soil in the bhandaara is wrong. He said that appropriate action will be taken after getting the investigation done by ACP Soraon.
