In December 2022, the murders of women one after the other in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh had put people in panic. The killer used to kill women and throw their bodies naked on the road. The mental condition of the accused was so bad that he used to kill women first and then rape their dead bodies. The police have started action against the accused under the National Security Act (NSA).
In December 2002, two incidents one after the other in the Ramsanehi Ghat area of Barabanki created a stir in the entire area. In which an elderly woman was also involved. The accused killed the elderly woman while going to the forest for defecation. After that he raped the dead body of the elderly woman. The police arrested psycho killer Amarendra after a lot of effort.
Magistrate took NSA action
When the police interrogated the accused, he confessed his crime and named two other accomplices, after which the police arrested those accused on 22 March 2023. Taking strict action against the accused, the police took action under the Gangster Act on 3 May 2023, but SP Dinesh Kumar Singh was determined to put a full stop to the terror of the psycho. On the instructions of the SP, on the request of Inspector-in-Charge Ramsanehi Ghat OP Tiwari and higher officials, the magistrate has taken action against psycho Amarendra under NSA.
Two women were killed and raped with the dead body
SP Dinesh Kumar Singh said that the incidents of murder happening in the same pattern in the district had disturbed. On 5 December 2022, the accused tried to do wrong with an elderly woman in a village, but the villagers saved the life of the elderly woman. The accused fled from the spot. However, due to no complaint being lodged, the morale of the accused was boosted. After which both of them murdered two women and raped them.
After the murder of two women, the police formed five different teams and arrested the psycho. The police has taken NSA action to reduce the crime incidents and curb the increasing courage of the accused.
