Hathras. Police action is progressing in the stampede case after the satsang of Surajpal (Saakar Vishwa Hari) in Sikandrarao on July 2. On Tuesday, the police presented all the accused in the court. On the basis of the application given by the investigator, three more sections have been added in the case of the accused.
Now the hearing in this case will be held on July 29. Mangal Milan Sadbhavna Samagam was organized on July 2 in Fullerai village of Sikandrarao. The event was organized in 150 bigha field. Lakhs of people came to the satsang. 121 people died in the stampede.
Under Sikandrarao Kotwali, Pora Chowki in-charge Brajesh Pandey registered a case against the main sevadar Dev Prakash Madhukar and others under sections 105, 110, 126 (2), 223, 238 of the Indian Code of Criminal Procedure, in which permission was taken for 80 thousand people and more than two lakh people came, the sevadars stopped the crowd, pushed and shoved the crowd and caused an accident and hid the evidence.
The police have arrested a total of 11 sevadars and organizers including Dev Prakash Madhukar. All the people are in Aligarh jail. On Tuesday afternoon, the police presented all the accused in the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court. An application was given in the court of investigation officer and CO Rampravesh Rai to increase the sections against the accused. The court has accepted it. Sections 132/121 (1) BNS and 7 CLA have been increased against all the accused. Now the next hearing in this case will be on July 29.
