Agra. A 22-year-old girl was murdered on Sunday in the mosque premises near the Taj Mahal East Gate. When the people who arrived for Namaz at around quarter to three in the afternoon saw the half-naked body of the girl in the premises, they were shocked. There is a suspicion of rape of the girl.
The killer killed the girl by hitting her on the face with a heavy object. The girl has not been identified. It is suspected that the killer might have been an acquaintance of the girl. After raping her, she was brought here and murdered out of fear of being caught.
The police is trying to trace the killer from the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area. The girl is wearing white salwar and checked kameez.
