Maharajganj. Three workers died after a wall collapsed at a brick kiln in Nausgar of Brijmanganj police station area around 5 pm on Wednesday evening. Two workers are seriously injured. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. All the injured and deceased are residents of Lohardaga district of Jharkhand state.
Brij Bhushan runs a brick kiln near Nausagar village. During brick extraction on Wednesday evening, the wall suddenly collapsed and fell on the workers. Due to which five workers working there were buried. As soon as the wall fell, there was chaos there.
Three workers died on the spot
Local people ran and removed bricks and soil and pulled the workers out. During this, Santosh Urao resident of Bethat Jamun Toli police station and district Lohardaga, Parvati resident of Patratu, Khalihan Toli police station Kisko district Lohardaga and Sushila Urao resident of Jima Barwat Toli, police station Kudu, district Lohardaga Jharkhand died on the spot.
Ramesh resident of Khalihan, Patratu Toli, police station Bathadu, district Lohardaga and Shanti resident of Bonga police station Bagadu district Lohardaga Jharkhand have been seriously injured. The injured were taken to Community Health Center Dhani for treatment. Seeing his serious condition, the doctors referred him to the district hospital after first aid.
The police reached the spot and took further action after taking possession of the body. SDM Farenda Naveen Prasad, CO Anirudh Kumar also inspected the spot. SDM said that the incident is being investigated.
