The Gyanvapi Masjid case was heard in the Supreme Court today. The Supreme Court has stayed the Allahabad High Court’s order allowing carbon dating of the alleged ‘Shivling’. Huzaifa Ahmadi of the Muslim side went to the Supreme Court against the High Court’s order on carbon dating. Now it has been stayed till the next hearing. The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Center and the Uttar Pradesh government in this matter.
The Supreme Court said that the implications of the High Court order would need to be examined closely. The implementation of the relevant instructions in the order will be postponed till the next date. In the Gyanvapi case, Huzaifa Ahmadi of the Muslim side has said in the Supreme Court that we have come here against the order of carbon dating of the High Court. Ahmadi said that carbon dating could start on the 22nd. In this case, there is a need to ban.
What did Solicitor General Tushar Mehta say?
On this, Chief Justice DY Chandrachud asked Solicitor General Tushar Mehta whether you want to take instructions? Tushar Mehta said that if there is some damage to the structure during the survey, then it may be better that your lordship decides on it. He said that we will see if there is any other technique.

During this, the lawyer of the mosque committee praised Tushar Mehta and said that he is really understanding the situation. The Masjid Committee side also said that we did not get a full chance to present our side in the High Court.
