According to the information, Hansraj Hans’s wife Resham Kaur was suffering from heart disease for a long time. She was admitted to Tagore Hospital in Jalandhar for some time. Even after this, she did not get much relief. Today, at the age of 62, she breathed her last.
Resham had a sudden stroke
Resham Kaur’s brother Paramjit Singh said that his sister Resham Kaur died at around 2 pm. She was admitted to the hospital for the last 5 days. Before this she was completely healthy. She did not have any health problem, but a few days ago she suddenly suffered a stroke for the first time. Due to this she was admitted to the hospital. The doctors there took good care of her.
The last rites will be performed tomorrow
Resham Kaur’s last rites will be performed on Thursday i.e. tomorrow in her native village Shafipur. Punjabi Sufi singer Hansraj Hans is originally from Shafipur village in Jalandhar. Hansraj Hans was number one among the Sufi singers of Punjab in his time.
