Lucknow. In Behta village of Kakori, miscreants shot 35-year-old Ankit Lodhi in the head on Wednesday night. The youth was taken to the trauma center in a bloody condition. Where he died during treatment. 35-year-old Ankit Lodhi, a resident of Behta village, used to work in property.
The bullet hit Ankit’s head
Late Wednesday night, after attending a wedding ceremony near the village, he reached a grocery shop near the road to Narayanpur. Here he got into an argument with some youths. Angered by this, the youths fired at Ankit. The bullet hit Ankit’s head, due to which he fell down bleeding.
After committing the crime, the miscreants fled from the spot. On receiving the information, the police, with the help of local people, immediately sent the youth to the trauma center where doctors declared Ankit dead. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the deceased’s brother-in-law Ramu and are searching for the accused.
DCP inspected the crime scene
On receiving the information about the murder, DCP West Vishwajeet Srivastava also reached the spot with the force. He inspected the crime scene and directed Kakori police to arrest the accused soon. The search for the accused is going on on the basis of CCTV footage and surveillance. At the same time, there is an atmosphere of panic in the village after the murder. Police force has been deployed as a precaution.
