Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed action against officers who delay in resolving public grievances. He has also directed disciplinary action against officers who give wrong reports regarding people’s complaints. Divisional Commissioners have been asked to regularly review the districts and District Magistrates to review the tehsils. In view of the upcoming festivals, he has also instructed the police to make foolproof arrangements for the safety of the common people.
He told the police officers that compromise with the safety of mothers, sisters and daughters is not acceptable. If incidents of love jihad, molestation and chain snatching occur, then accountability will be fixed from the beat constable to the Deputy SP. On Sunday, at his official residence, the Chief Minister held video conferencing with all the Divisional Commissioners, District Magistrates, Additional Director General of Police (Zone), Police Commissioner, Inspector General of Police (Range) and Deputy Inspector General of Police (Range) and directed to ensure arrangements in view of development works, law and order and upcoming festivals. He said that strict action should be taken against the anarchic elements trying to spoil the atmosphere during the festivals.
Yogi said that Baravafat is on September 16. Ganesh Utsav will be celebrated till Anant Chaturdashi. After this, Pitru Paksha will start and Sharadiya Navratri, Vijayadashami festival is from October 3. This time is sensitive from the point of view of law and order, during this time the police should be vigilant.
Divisional Commissioner should review the districts and DM should review the tehsils
The Chief Minister said that the districts are being reviewed daily at the government level. Every incident in the districts, every officer’s activity is being monitored. The zone and range level officers should make similar efforts in their areas of charge. The Police Commissioner should give the report of his commissionerate to the DGP every day. Public complaints should be heard on time. Matters like transfer, measurement, land use change, inheritance should be resolved within the stipulated time limit in any case.
DM-SP should maintain communication with the Minister in charge
Yogi said that the Ministers in charge will visit all the districts every month. All the concerned officers should be present during the visit of the ministers in charge and inform them about their departmental progress. The District Magistrate and the Police Captain should maintain continuous communication with the minister in charge of the district. Nodal officers will also be deployed for the districts soon.
Provide immediate relief to rain-flood victims
The Chief Minister said that due to heavy rains in the past few days, loss of life and property has been reported in many districts including Lakhimpur Kheri, Farrukhabad, Gonda, Jalaun, Prayagraj, Varanasi. This should be assessed and compensation should be done without delay. There should be no delay in relief work. There should be no compromise in the quality and quantity of relief material. Regarding the incidents of collapse of buildings, he directed the urban bodies and development authorities to run a campaign and mark the sensitive buildings in their areas.
Action should be taken against those damaging the railway tracks
The Chief Minister said that in the last few days, there have been indications of a conspiracy to damage the railway tracks or cause a railway accident. Some people have also been caught. Zone and range level police officers should maintain constant contact with the GRP and RPF forces of their area. Strict action should be taken against those involved in this big conspiracy.

There should be no parking of motorcycles, cars, taxis on the roadside. Immediate action should be taken against illegal bus, taxi and parking stands. -Immediate financial assistance should be provided to the families affected by incidents of human-wildlife conflict. -Participation of maximum number of people should be ensured in the Swachhata Abhiyan being run in the state from 17th September, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to 2nd October, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
