Now fast bowler Barinder Sran, who started his career with Jasprit Bumrah, has said goodbye to international cricket. 31-year-old Barinder Sran’s international career was not very long. The Indian bowler announced his retirement through a post on Instagram. In his post, he told how becoming a fast bowler from a boxer was successful for him. He switched from boxing to cricket in 2009. In his post, he wrote, “As I officially hang up my cricket shoes, I remember my journey with a heart full of gratitude. Since switching from boxing in 2009, cricket has given me countless and incredible experiences. Fast bowling soon became my lucky charm and opened doors to represent the prestigious IPL franchise, eventually culminating in the highest honor of representing India in 2016.” He further wrote, “Even though my international career was brief, the memories made will always be cherished. I am always grateful to God for giving me the right coach and management, who supported me throughout the journey.” Let us tell you that Barinder Sran has said goodbye to international cricket as well as domestic cricket.

Barinder Sran Singh, who made his international debut in 2016, played 6 ODIs and 2 T20 International matches. He took 7 wickets in ODIs, in which 3/56 was his best. Apart from this, he took 6 wickets in T20 Internationals, in which his best bowling figure was 4/10.
It is worth noting that Barinder Sran used to play first class cricket for Punjab. He played a total of 18 first class and 31 List A matches in his career. While bowling in 28 first class innings, he took 47 wickets, while in 31 List A innings he took 45 wickets.
